We have 2 Kidneys under our ribs. Our kidneys are as big as our fist. All our blood passed through our kidneys. They remove the waste products in our blood, Then this waste product will get out in our urine through our bladder. There are lots of things that can destroy our kidneys, like diabetes and high blood pressure. If our kidneys are not functioning well, we will need to have dialysis to remove the waste in our blood. But dialysis is really expensive.


If your kidney is damage toxins will grow in your body. Diabetes and high blood pressure are other factors that cause to your kidney Disease. So you must treat team before it become worst. We all know that dialysis is pricey or expensive. If you have kidney disease be strict in your diet to prevent dialysis. Eat plenty of vegetables everyday, limit in eating rice. You should avoid salty foods, junk foods, and softdrinks. Eliminate eating meat like beef and pork to your diet. Become a vegetarian it is best for you.

2 Types of Kidney Diseases

There are two different types of kidney diseases one is called Acute Kidney Failure (AKF) and the other one is Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD).

1. Acute Kidney Failure could be due to an accident, trauma or a person with a drug overdose or medicines. In acute kidney failure, it could be reversible so the person could have kidney function again.

2. Chronic Kidney Disease is a slow loss of nephrons of the kidney cells. The kidney function goes down. And unfortunately, that one is none reversible. Once we lose nephrons we cannot regenerate new cells in our kidneys.

  • Balances the acid in our body
  • Regulates our blood pressure
  • Regulates acidity of our body

6 ways to take care of our kidneys

1. Stay Hydrated - Drink enough water for our body, Drink 10-12 glasses of water every day. When our urine is blurry and smelly this can be a sign that our kidneys are not functioning well.

2. Eat nutritious foods - What is the meaning of this? Eat less salty food. Use olive oil instead of other oils. Limit eating Saturated fats.

3. Treat your high blood pressure well, your blood pressure must be 120/80 if your high blood pressure is higher consult a doctor to cure your Hypertension. If your high blood pressure is high it can destroy your kidneys.

4. Control the level of sugar in your blood. When we have high blood sugar it can cause a problem in our kidney. If you have diabetes it is important to treat this.

5. Manage your weight - When a person is overweight the more they will develop diabetes and hypertension, which can cause a problem in your kidney.

6. Stay away from in cigarettes - people who smoke cigarettes have the higher toxin that is moving in their body and this can lead to kidney problems.


Note: Be Careful when using painkillers. This includes non-steroidal, anti-inflammatories like Ibuprofen, Diclofenac, naproxen These drugs can destroy your kidneys so limit using it.
